Mike joins ViroCyt from Thermo Fisher (formerly Life Technology and Molecular Probes) where he served as Director of R&D with responsibility for the development and commercialization of the Molecular Probes flow cytometry reagents as well as the expansion of acoustic technology through world-wide education, and earlier as Product Manager for Flow Cytometry, leading the emergence of the flow cytometry business. Prior to joining Molecular Probes, he was Director of R&D at Caltag Laboratories and was instrumental in the growth of fluorochrome antibody conjugate introductions into to the flow cytometry market. Earlier in his career, Mike worked at Pfizer as a Senior Research Scientist. His postdoctoral research was carried out in the Department of Pathology and Center of Immunology at Washington University in St. Louis. He earned his PhD degree in Experimental Pathology and Immunology from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and his BS degree from the University of Notre Dame. Greg brings over 20 years of experience in the commercialization of life science products, including sales, marketing and business development roles at Sartorius Stedim Biotech, Becton Dickinson, Accuri Cytometers, GE Healthcare, Pharmacia and Amersham. He obtained his undergraduate and graduate education in science at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, as well as a Masters of Business Administration at the Keller School of Management.
